The Campground & Seasonal Dates
The campground is about a mile long from end to end and has two shower houses with flush toilets. The sites are all spacious enough to accommodate two vehicles, both towing trailers or boats. There are three types of sites in the campground, Rustic (no water, sewer or electricity ), Electrical Only (no water or sewer) and Full Hook-up (water, sewer and electrical hook-ups).
The 2025 Reservation Season is from May 1st - September 30th. Be aware that we usually cannot turn on the water until mid-May because of the weather. We will have a couple of frost free hydrants open that we can use to fill up your tanks.
Check-out is 11 am/check-in is 2pm.
West Loop - Rustic Sites
The West Loop is comprised of 19 sites, 2 Outhouses, 1 Group Pavilion & access to 5 Picnic sites. The sites in the West Loop are closer to the water with easier access to beaches but they have no water, sewer or electrical hook-ups.
Site Dimensions: The parking pad is 20 feet wide and 50 feet long. There is another 15 feet of width where the fire pit and picnic table are located.

All overnight stays in standard sites have Base Rate Length of Stay discounts for 14-29 days (10% off), & 30+ days (20% off). Active Military Base Rate discount available (50% off) - The discount will be applied at the Goose Bay Store when a military ID is presented. Only the site in which the active military personnel is staying will be discounted.
All overnight stays under 30 days will have an 8% MT Bed Tax added.

Only one extra car is allowed per site but it includes anything that extra car is towing as long as all vehicles and trailers fit on the site pad. As an example, you may have your truck towing your RV and a second truck towing your boat all in the same site. All vehicles, ATVs and trailers must be parked on the campsite spur and not on the grass.
Central Loop - Electrical Only
The Central Loop is comprised of 31 sites; 27 are electrical only, 1 is a host site & 3 are full hook-up. There is also access to 2 group picnic pavilions and 9 picnic sites as well as 2 shower houses and 1 outhouse. These sites are closer to the boat slips and the convenience store.
Site Dimensions: The back-in sites are 20 feet wide and 50 feet long. The pull-through sites are 100 feet long with a 50-foot parking pad and 20 feet wide. There is another 15 feet of width where the fire pit and picnic table are located.
Electric Only Sites

East Loop - Full Hook-up
The East Loop has 42 full hook-up sites (50/30/20 amp, water, and sewer hook-ups), access to 1 group picnic pavilion, 3 picnic sites and 4 outhouses. These sites are near the end of the bay which can be accessed by trails and the old boat launch. The end of the bay is good for paddleboarding, kayaking, and swimming.

Picnic Sites
The picnic sites are located throughout the campground along the edge of the bay giving you scenic views of Canyon Ferry. Some of the picnic spots have a pavilion so when making a reservation, be sure to read the description to see if the site you are looking at has one or not. The group picnic sites are located within the campground surrounded by campsites. All of the group picnic sites have a pavilion and charcoal grills.

Boat Slips
Goose Bay boasts some of the most beautiful and sturdy docks on the lake; being built from steel and concrete, you can be sure of your boat's security and your own safety. The docks consist of mostly 20 foot slips, but there are also eight 25 foot slips and one 40 foot slip.

Dry Storage
Goose Bay's Dry Storage is fenced and open for easy parking. ITo use the dry storage area, you must fill out and sign the Storage Waiver. You will need the license plate and/or boat number of the vehicle or trailer being stored along with make and model.

To use the dry storage area, you must fill out and sign the Storage Waiver. You will need the license plate and/or boat number of the vehicle or trailer being stored along with make and model.
If you rent a boat slip or a site, you may park your boat trailer for 50% off in the Dry Storage area for the same dates that you have the boat slip or site.
